About Yvonne

I am a Clinical Counsellor and Psychotherapist offering face-to-face and online therapy for adults. Alongside my private practice, I also work part-time as a counsellor at the South East Cancer Help Centre (SECHC), supporting people affected by cancer.
I trained at London’s CCPE in an integrative approach, drawing on a range of modalities including Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Existential and Transpersonal approaches. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
My psychotherapy practice is enriched by over 25 years of experience working with people in a variety of therapeutic, group and personal development settings. Earlier in my career, I trained at drama school, and later trained in complementary therapies and energy work.
Over the years, I have facilitated groups and workshops in the UK and Europe, covering a range of therapeutic, personal and spiritual development topics.
I was drawn to psychotherapy through my long-standing interest in people, therapy and personal growth, and through a desire to support others through times of difficulty, change and transition. My varied experience has given me the opportunity to meet and work with people from many different backgrounds. I bring this breadth of experience, along with warmth and an open-minded approach, to my work with each individual.
